Itinerary
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you join fellow travelers eager to explore Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley — stop at viewpoints to admire sweeping landscapes and capture unforgettable photos of the escarpment stretching endlessly.
Continue your journey past rolling hills and the Maasai villages that dot the countryside, offering your first glimpse into the rich Maasai culture — known for their vibrant attire, warrior traditions, and deep connection to nature.
Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp or lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. As you venture into the vast plains, encounter Africa’s most iconic wildlife: lions lounging in the grass, herds of elephants marching gracefully, and gazelles dancing through the tall golden savannah. If luck is on your side, you might even spot a leopard resting in a tree or a cheetah on the hunt.
As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky bursts into fiery shades of orange and red — a signature Mara sunset. Return to your camp for dinner, followed by storytelling around the bonfire under a canopy of stars.
Rise early for a full day of discovery in Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. After a hearty breakfast, set out with packed lunches for a day-long safari adventure.
Traverse the rolling plains and winding rivers where the drama of the wild unfolds — watch elephants bathing in the Mara River, hippos wallowing lazily, and crocodiles lying in wait for unsuspecting prey. The open landscapes provide endless opportunities for photography and wildlife sightings.
Between July and October, witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on Earth, as millions of wildebeests and zebras cross from the Serengeti into the Mara in search of greener pastures — a heart-pounding scene of survival and instinct.
In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village (optional at a small fee). Wake up to the sweet sounds of birds and a gentle African sunrise. After breakfast, enjoy a final early morning game drive — your last chance to capture those perfect moments of grazing giraffes, playful elephants, or a pride of lions preparing for the day.
Later, bid farewell to the Mara and begin your scenic journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your preferred location — your heart full of memories of the wild, new friendships, and the cultural beauty of Kenya’s Maasai people.
