Dawn Over the Savannah: Our First African Morning

The African bush wakes up gently. Before the sun breaks the horizon, the savannah hums with life — distant lion calls, birds rehearsing their morning songs, and the soft crunch of tires as our safari vehicle rolls forward.

Our journey with Salaton Safaris began at dawn in Kenya’s open grasslands. Giraffes moved like poetry against the rising sun, elephants crossed our path with quiet authority, and herds of antelope dotted the plains like brushstrokes on a living canvas.

For the grandparents, it was a return to nature’s rhythm. For the children, every sight was wonder made real. Africa didn’t feel like a destination — it felt like home we had forgotten.
