We embark on a road trip to Amboseli which lies on the border with Tanzania. This park is famous for its concentration of elephants and scenic beauty dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro – ‘The roof of Africa’ which makes a spectacular view on a clear day.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure and take an afternoon game drive of the Amboseli National Park. Complete the day with a treat of the spa and full body massage at the lodge. Overnight at lodge (B,L,D)
After an early morning game drive, depart by road further south west to Tsavo West National Park. The combined areas of Tsavo East and West National Parks make one of the world’s largest game sanctuaries, larger than Wales in Great Britain or Jamaica in the Caribbean.
Take an afternoon game drive of this park home to scores of wildlife including the “BIG Five”. Other attractions include Mzima Springs an underground stream that hosts wildlife which can be viewed from an underwater observatory, Shaitani lava flow, Ngulia rhino sanctuary, as well as the Lunatic Line, the railway line made famous by the “man-eaters of Tsavo”

Drive further down from Tsavo West to Kenya’s coastal island of Mombasa. Kenya’s coast is a world removed from the plains and mountains up-country and a good environment to enjoy some sun, sea and sand. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at beach resort (B,D)
Spend the day at leisure. Optional visits may be made to Fort Jesus, Mamba Village, Wild Waters (Water Park), or to a swim with the dolphins at Wasini Marine Park (rates available on request)

- A visitor to Kenya and Tanzania requires a visa that costs 50 US$ per person and can be obtained on arrival for citizens of the EU, Australia, the US and a number of other countries.
Other Information
- A yellow fever certificate is required for guests entering Tanzania and Zanzibar after having visited certain countries in Africa. In this case travelers from Kenya will be required to produce this certificate which should be dated 10 days before the respective travel into these countries.
- All hotels are based on availabilities at the time of booking. In the event that any accommodation is not available we will substitute a comparable property or adjust the itinerary if necessary without compromising the integrity of the overall safari experience.
- Please note that at proposal stage, we will not have checked availability of the lodges included in our proposal to you and will only be done once confirmation has been received.
