Lake Nakuru National Park is located in the Rift Valley of Kenya, 165km northwest of Nairobi, just 6km from Nakuru town. The main attraction of this park is Lake Nakuru commonly referred to as an ornithologist’s paradise because of its spectacular offer of over one million flamingos at a time in a season. Its ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded mainly by wooded and bushy grasslands.
Other attractions include scenic views from the Baboon Cliff, Out of Africa Hill, and a visit to the Makalia Falls among others. The proximity of Lake Nakuru Park to Nairobi makes it an ideal destination for short-term getaways or day excursions.
The Flamingo Hill Camp is a tented camp situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley of Kenya.
